Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse as well as Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. She is the daughter of a Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen realized her potential within the industry of entertainment when she was just a teenager. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency before she turned 13; she later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper ads. Also, she began private acting classes at this time. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the starring Dorothy role. After graduation Bell made the move into New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts and was a musical theater student. Bell, who graduated in 2001, left her college studies in order to take on the role Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang, but the scene where she made an appearance was cut. In the end, the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
