Jill Hennessy
The resident from Edmonton, Alberta has a diverse ancestry spanning Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline's twin is an actress too. As a child, Jill became fluent in several languages, including Italian, French and Spanish. She became interested in acting at the age of 12. She started her acting career in Toronto as part of David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort alongside the twins of her. She then studied improv comedy at Second City under Deb Kimmet. After relocating from New York, Claire signed an agreement for two years with Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. The actress also appeared in films including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) throughout her three-year period. The years following her appearances in several forgettable films. Then, in 1999 she got a role as the lead in the mini-series uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. In major productions, such as Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. She was cast as a lead on the crime drama NBC's Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, in recognition of her contributions to the series, she received a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Leading in a Drama Series". In 2000, she was married to fellow actor Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two children. In 2007, she received the honour of being included on Canada's Walk of Fame.
