Alanis Morissette
Alanis Nadine was born 1 June 1974. She was born in Ottawa, Canada. Alanis can be described as the female version of Alan which is her father's birth name. She has two siblings: Chad (Alanis Twin) and Wade. At age 6 she started learning to play the piano. And then, when she turned 21, the guitarist. Alanis dropped a single in the year 1986 titled Fate Stay With Me (b-side : Find The Right Man). In Canada, Alanis recorded two dance-pop albums: Alanis (in 1991) and Now Is The Time in 1992. The singer moved to Toronto when she turned 18 and began working with writers and musicians, but these collaborations did not work. Then, in 1994, she found the right partner: producer and songwriter Glen Ballard, who had already worked with many performers, including Aretha Franklin Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand. They moved to LA at the age of 19 years old. The Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill", on June 13th 15th, 1995. Alanis's tracks were autobiographical. JLP is the third-highest-seller album in history and was sold over more than 30 million times around world. Her emotion-driven conflict (she was even considering not making an album) as well as a journey to India.
